Louis-Gabriel Nouchi, the designer behind
the Paris-based fashion brand LGN, was thrilled when he received the call to
design the costumes for the Paralympics' opening ceremony in Paris. The event,
which featured a procession down the Champs-Élysées and ended at the Place de
la Concorde, was a significant opportunity for the 36-year-old designer.
"I wanted to put all my heart into this project," said Mr. Nouchi, known for his elegantly simple men's wear with a contemporary twist.
